Dietetics

Dietitians are experts in food and nutrition. They provide guidance about how to appropriately manage diets and nutrition for people who may be affected by health conditions such as diabetes, overweight and obesity, cancer, heart disease, renal disease, gastro-intestinal diseases and food allergies. A dietitian can help people maintain their health and reduce their risk of developing chronic disease.

Our Dietitian, Amelia is a warm and friendly accredited practising dietitian and certified fertility dietitian, specialising in endometriosis, fertility and gastrointestinal conditions.

During her studies, she co-authored research that led to the development of a program designed to upskill healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based postnatal and infant nutrition advice. This project gave Amelia insight into the importance of nutrition during the first 2000 days and sparked an interest in women’s health and fertility nutrition. It was her own experience with endometriosis however that really ignited her desire to help patients take back control of their health through evidence-based nutrition advice
