About Us

In 2011 Mitchell Physiotherapy recognised the need for their physiotherapists to have further education in the treatment of women’s and men’s health as there was limited clinical expertise in the region. As demand for this service grew Hunter Pelvic Clinic was born. It commenced as a business in 2016 and has grown to 3 physiotherapists. Hunter Pelvic Clinic operates out of the Maitland Practice of Mitchell Integrated therapy.

Hunter Pelvic Clinic has formed strong linkages with the local urogynecology community.

Our physiotherapists have a special interest in women’s and men’s health and have all completed further education to give then the necessary skills to work in this complex area.

Two of our therapists have completed a Clinical Certificate in the Conservative management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse at the University of South Australia.

We strive to offer a high quality of care in a safe, confidential, and caring environment. Our interventions are based on the latest evidence and best practice guidelines.
